When Munawar’s Delhi show was cancelled
Earlier this year, his show in Delhi was cancelled. The Delhi Police has refused permission for Munawar Faruqui to perform the show. The licensing unit of Delhi Police has denied permission after the local Central District Police wrote a report.
Reports had claimed that the show would affect communal harmony in the area. In this case, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) had written a letter to Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora on August 25, demanding cancellation of Munawar Faruqui’s show.
VHP and Bajrang Dal will protest if the show in Delhi is not cancelled.
