1. An Action Hero (January 27, Netflix)
The story’s main character is Maanav, a well-known and beloved actor on the silver screen. Things swiftly change when he is implicated in the murder of a man named Vicky. Neeraj Yadav wrote the screenplay and Anirudh Iyer was the director for this action thriller. In this movie, Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat play important roles.
2. Saturday Night (January 27, Disney+ Hotstar)
The story’s protagonists are four friends who haven’t seen each other in a while. The reconnection teaches them the true meaning of friendship. The movie is allegedly a celebration of friendship. This drama-comedy film, which is directed by Rosshan Andrews, was written by Naveen Bhaskar. The cast includes actors like Nivin Pauly, Saiju Kurup, Aju Varghese, and more.

3. Raangi (January 29, Netflix)
The plot centres on journalist Thaiyal Nayagi and the conspiracy she discovers while doing background research for a piece. This action thriller, which was written by AR Murugadoss and directed by M. Saravanan, centres on women. In the film, Trisha Krishnan, Anaswara Rajan, and Bekzod Abdumalikov all have prominent roles.
4. 18 pages (January 27, Aha)
Siddhu, a software engineer who finds a journal kept by a young woman named Nandini, is the book’s main character. He decides to find Nandini as he continues to read the journal after growing fond of her. This love comedy’s screenplay was written by Sukumar, and it was directed by Palnati Surya Pratap. Nikhil Siddhartha, Anupama Parameswaran, Posani Krishna Murali, and other actors play significant roles in the film.
5. You People (27 January, Netflix)
A young couple at the centre of the story must deal with cultural expectations and generational gaps. It’s funny when their two families’ different ethnic backgrounds interact. The film’s romantic comedy was directed by Kenya Barris. The main cast includes actors like Jonah Hill, Eddie Murphy, Nia Long, and others who are well-known.
