Buenos Aires: Former One Direction singer Liam Payne was found dead outside a hotel in Buenos Aires after falling from the balcony of his third-floor room, Argentine police said on Wednesday.
According to Reuters, the police said in a statement that they were called to a hotel in the Palermo neighborhood after a report of an ‘aggressive man who could be under the effects of drugs and alcohol.”
The hotel manager said that he heard a loud noise at the back of the building, Upon arrival, the police found a man who had apparently fallen off his balcony.
Emergency workers confirmed that British singer Liam’s death who was reportedly found in the hotel’s interior patio.
American singer Charlie Puth took to Instagram to express his grief over Liam’s death. He wrote in his IG story, “I am in shock right now. Liam was always so kind to me. He was one of the first major artists I got to work with. I can not believe he is gone.”
