Liam Payne Death Case: The sudden demise of Liam Payne has left a void in the music industry and his fans in shock. A new development has been made in this case after an Argentine judge charged five people in connection with Liam’s death. For the unversed, Liam died on October 16 after falling from the third-floor balcony of his hotel. The hotel’s manager and its receptionist have been charged with manslaughter, whereas, two other employees have been charged with supplying drugs.
Meanwhile, according to BBC, Liam’s friend is also suspected of manslaughter for allegedly failing to fulfill his duties of care, assistance, and help towards the ‘For You’ singer. The judge mentioned that the actions of Liam Payne’s friend, the hotel manager, and the receptionist created a risk to the singer’s life. The three suspects could face sentences of between one and five years in prison if found guilty.
The other two suspects have been summoned to appear within 24 working hours. The sentence for supplying drugs is between four and 15 years in jail.
After Liam’s tragic demise, One Direction members penned heartfelt notes for their former bandmates and expressed their grief. Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson said in a joint statement, “The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever. For now, our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and the fans who loved him alongside us. In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say. But for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly.”
