Cobbs began his acting career with small roles in television and theater before making his feature film debut in the 1974 crime thriller “The Taking of Pelham One Two Three.”

Bill Cobbs is known for his roles in films such as 1997’s “Air Bud” and 1993’s “Demolition Man.” He starred alongside Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner in 1992’s “The Bodyguard.” In the “Night at the Museum” films, he played Reginald, one of the antagonistic security guards, alongside Mickey Rooney and Dick Van Dyke.
