The second season of the popular reality show Laughter Chefs has come to an end with Karan Kundrra and Elvish Yadav emerging as the winners. The duo, loved for their fun bond and playful cooking style, impressed everyone with their creative dish, the now-famous croissant-fruit fountain.
Renowned chef and show judge Harpal Singh Sokhi took to Instagram to share glimpses from the grand finale and celebrate the winners. In a heartfelt note, Harpal reflected on the show’s journey and praised Karan and Elvish for being a great team, “Here’s the magical dish #croissantfruitfountain that the boys created to lift the trophy of #laughterchefs @kkundrra @elvish_yadav. The duo were a perfect team one who understood cooking and one who was the perfect support system. It is a perfect management principle of partners filling up gaps wherever required and Elvish did that at all the time.”
He went on to commend the team behind Laughter Chefs, saying the show revived the spirit of television entertainment, “He bagged many titles @sleepman #dhabekachotu but was always there when needed…here’s to the entire team of #laughterchefs who created history in the world, bought people back to watching TV non-stop for hours, thereby lifting the spirits of cable distribution/set top box etc, thereby bringing cheers to what we would always hear #tvaabmargaya ..no mean task this one. Karan Kundrra, reflecting on his victory said, “Coming back for Season 2 turned out to be one of the most special experiences I’ve had in a long time. There was a kind of ease on this set that’s hard to describe – no pressure, no overthinking, just people genuinely enjoying themselves. I felt like I was returning to a family that missed me. I joined mid-season, had zero prep, and suddenly I was in this high-pressure kitchen with Elvish, who operates on pure instinct and jugaad, and somehow, it just clicked. What’s precious to me is that this journey with all its fun, flaws, and flavour sends a simple but powerful message: that everyone can cook, and everyone should. Elvish Yadav on wrapping up the season with a win shared, “When I entered Laughter Chefs, I thought it would be a fun break – a few laughs, some kitchen disasters, and then back to regular life. But this show had other plans. From the very first week, it pulled me into its vibe. And when Karan and I teamed up, it was an instant vibe match. We never over planned, we just showed up, had fun, and stayed real. Kitchen was a new territory for me, but this journey taught me so much.
