Bengali singer Lagnajita Chakraborty recently accused music director Rajesh Roshan of sexual harassment. She claimed that Rajesh Roshan, who is also Hrithik Roshan’s uncle, invited her to his home and touched her inappropriately. The veteran music director is yet to respond to these allegations towards him.
In an interview with Sreemoyee Piu, Lagnajita talked about the alleged incident and said, “When I used to live in Bombay, he had called me to meet him in Santa Cruz. I went to his house, and I sat down, and he was sitting there. There were piano and other instruments everywhere.”
She added, “I was wearing a skirt at the time. As I was typing, I noticed that he was slowly moving closer to me. He kept approaching and I thought, ‘Let’s see how far he comes and what he does.’ Without any further ado, you won’t believe it, it’s awkward to even say this on camera, but he just slipped his hand inside my skirt. Just like that, it was that seamless. I just got up and walked out.”

While sharing how the incident affected her, she revealed, “It never affected me too much. I didn’t make much hue and cry about it because I feel that it was his problem and mistake that he resorted to such behaviour. It’s not my problem.”
For the unversed, Lagnajita Chakraborty is a popular singer-songwriter and has lend her voice in several popular Bengali movies.
Rajesh Roshan will be seen in the Netflix docu-series ‘The Roshans’, which also features Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan.
