Mohanlal and Prithviraj’s much anticipated film, L2: Empuraan was finally released released yesterday setting an unimaginable record on its opening day. The Prithviraj Sukumaran directed mass entertainer has received lot of love from the audience. The film’s opening day collection is more than twice the previous highest for a Malayalam film. What Happens In The End?
The ending of L2: Empuraan is nothing short of electrifying. Baba Bajrangi arrives with a convoy of armed men, ready for a final confrontation. In the middle of an open ground where Munna who has been badly beaten and is barely able to stand and before anyone could react, he explodes leaving Baba Bajarangi in shock and grief but his rage fuels an intense showdown against Kureshi. Khureshi who is a man with calculated moves, makes it clear that he will not stand in the way of Zayed’s vengeance. Earlier in the film, it was revealed how Khureshi saved Zayed from Jihadists in Pakistan who attempted to radicalise him. Instead, Khureshi gave Zayed a purpose, shaping his path towards justice.
As the battle rages, Baba Bajarangi’s men are wiped out one by one leaving only him standing against Zayed. Khureshi, true to his elusive nature, vanishes once again, only emerging when he believes his presence is necessary. Before leaving, he advises Jathin to return to his roots as a dedicated party worker rather than assuming a leadership role he isn’t suited for.
What Happens In The Post-Credit Scene?
L2:Empuraan includes a gripping post credit scene that hints at the next big conflict. A powerful global crime syndicate of the Chinese origin, which had been previously mentioned is finally introduced. In the post credit scene Khureshi receives a phone call from what appears to be the leader of this syndicate. Before he can react one of his helicopters is blown up in front of him and for the first time Khureshi looks genuinely shocked and unsettled. This gives the audience a glimpse of what’s coming in the L2 sequel.
L2: Empuraan Star Cast
The supporting star cast of the film include Tovino Thomas as Jathin Ramdas, Indrajit Sukumaran as Govardhan Manju Warrier as Priyadarshini Ramdas and Suraj Venjaramoodu as Sanjanachaandran. Each character is expected to bring their own intrigue to the story which could make the film an overall grand cinematic experience.
