L2 Empuraan Box Office Prediction Day 1: Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran have teamed up again for the most anticipated Malayalam movie ‘L2: Empuraan’. The movie has created hype ever since its announcement and is likely to have a good box office collection amid the poor run of Malayalam movies in theatres. According to the website Sacnilk, L2: Empuraan has already collected Rs 50 crore on day 1 through its advance bookings. Neanwhile, as per Manorama Online, the movie will reportedly cross Rs 80 crore globally on the weekend.
Apart from starring in ‘L2: Empuraan’, Prithviraj Sukumaran is also the director of the film. Earlier, he talked about the box office clash of his movie with Sikandar. Calling Salman Khan ‘one of the biggest stars of the country’, Prithviraj said that he is rooting for both the films and said there is no competition between them. During the press conference, he shared, “Salman Khan is one of the biggest stars in the country, and there is no competition between the two movies. I hope it becomes a blockbuster. I will have no complaints if you watch L2: Empuraan at 11 a.m. and Sikandar at 1 p.m.”
The movie also stars Abhimanyu Singh, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Jerome Flynn, Indrajith Sukumaran, Eriq Ebouaney, and Suraj Venjaramoodu. It is the sequel to the hit 2019 Malayalam movie ‘Lucifer’.
Meanwhile, Lucifer also starred Vivek Oberoi, Sai Kumar, Baiju Santhosh, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Saniya Iyappan, Nyla Usha, Sachin Khedekar, and Fazil. The movie will focus on Stephen Nedumpally, who is leading a double life as Khureshi Ab’raam, an enigmatic leader of a powerful global crime syndicate.
