New Delhi: Krushna Abhishek has claimed that he abandoned a Sajid Khan project because he was scheduled to appear on The Kapil Sharma Show and was unable to find dates that would work for both endeavours.
Krushna recently made a reappearance on the comedy programme, following weeks of contract negotiations with the channel and The Kapil Sharma Show producers. He had left the programme the previous year due to problems with his contract.

Speaking to a media portal, Krushna said, “There are issues, we have a yearly contract with the channel and have busy schedules … like Sajid Khan had offered me the film he is shooting now. (But) it didn’t happen because of my dates. You can ask him, otherwise I would have loved to work with him too.”

Krushna Abhishek eventually made a comeback to The Kapil Sharma Show after leaving for several months. Sony Entertainment Television shared many videos on Instagram. Krushna appeared in the videos dressed as his character Sapna. Kapil Sharma told Krushna, “Sapna tu agayi, sach mein bada accha lag raha hai (Sapna you have returned, I am really very happy).”
In the reply, Krushna said, “Thank you Kappu. Tereko maalum hai Kappu, yeh season aane kaeech hai.” The host asked, “Really?”
While looking at Archana, Krushna continued, “Abhi main agayi, Sidhu ji bhi agaye.” She widened her eyes and said, “Aah. Acha (Really)?.” Referring to Navjot Singh Sidhu’s return from jail.
The fourth season of The Kapil Sharma Show has begun airing on SonyTV on weekends at 9.30 p.m. When the cast of the show embarks on a tour of the US in July, audiences will be entertained by their stage performances as well.
