Kingdom OTT Release: Plot, Cast, When And Where To Watch Vijay Deverakonda Starrer Spy Action Film

Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom is set to premiere on OTT soon!

The much awaited action drama Kingdom, starring Vijay Deverakonda, is all set to make its OTT debut. After its theatrical run, the film will begin streaming on OTT, the platform officially confirmed on its social media handles. The spy action film was released worldwide on 31 July 2025 to mixed reviews from critics and audience. The film has grossed Rs 80 crore worldwide.

When and where to watch Kingdom?

Sharing the update, Netflix posted: “In the kingdom of gold, blood and fire… a new king rises from the ashes. Watch Kingdom on Netflix, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and as Saamrajya in Hindi.”

The film will begin streaming on Netflix starting August 27, 2025.

Plot

Kingdom is about Surya “Suri,” a constable who goes undercover on Divi, a dangerous island near Sri Lanka during the civil war. On the island, he is shocked to find his long lost brother, Siva, who is the leader of a tribal community whose ancestors were killed by the British. Suri slowly wins the trust of the islanders, but things take a dark turn when cartel leader Murugan betrays them killing Siva and slaughtering many villagers. Heartbroken, Suri takes on the role of the savior foretold in prophecy, defeats Murugan, and becomes the new king of Divi. The story closes with the arrival of Murugan’s brother, Sethu, hinting at a sequel.

Cast

The film features Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role as Constable Surya “Suri,” with Ronit Kamra portraying his younger version. Satyadev plays Suri’s elder brother Siva, while Kothala Bhanu Prakash appears as young Siva. Bhagyashri Borse stars as Dr. Madhu, Suri’s love interest, and Bhoomi Shetty takes on the role of Gauri, Siva’s wife and Suri’s sister-in-law. Venkitesh V. P. appears as Murugan, with Baburaj playing his father, Odiyappan. Manish Chaudhari essays the role of Jayaprakash alias JP, Suri’s spy handler in Sri Lanka, while Ayyappa P. Sharma plays Bhairaghi.

The supporting cast includes Goparaju Ramana as Constable Rajanna, the uncle of Siva and Suri, Rohini as their mother, and Muralidhar Goud as the Police SI. The film also features Mahesh Achanta, Rajkumar Kasireddy, Ajith Koshy, Ravi Krishna, Kancharapalem Kishore, Abhay Bethiganti, Keshav Deepak, and Sravan in important roles.

The film is written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. The film is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
