Kim Soon Hyun-Kim Sae Ron Controversy: Popular South Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun is currently in the middle of a massive controversy after it was rumoured that he was dating late actress Kim Sae Ron when she was a minor. Although Soo Hyun’s agency has repeatedly denied these allegations, the actor has been facing the public heat and consequences.
Luxury brand Prada has dropped Kim Soo Hyun as its official global brand ambassador. The company also shared an official statement and said, “Considering the seriousness of the issue, we have decided to end our collaboration with actor Kim Soo Hyun by mutual agreement.”
In another development to this controversy, a former trainee actor has made some new shocking allegations against Kim Soo Hyun. The person claimed that the Queen Of Tears star has habit of excessive swearing, use offensive language and has a completely different image in the public.
The rumours of Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron’s relationship began when the latter posted a selfie with him on Instagram in 2024.

Kim Soo Hyun was allegedly dating Kim Sae Ron when she was only 15 and he was 27 and the claims were made by YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute. Meanwhile, the agency of Queen Of Tears actor earlier issued a statement, which reads, “The claims made by Garosero Research Institute regarding Kim Soo Hyun on YouTube today are completely false.”
“They alleged that our company and Kim Soo Hyun colluded with YouTuber Lee Jin Ho to harass the late Kim Sae Ron, that Kim Soo Hyun had been dating the late Kim Sae Ron since she was 15, that our agency’s response to her drunk driving accident was unfair, and that our company’s manager had a close relationship with YouTuber Lee Jin Ho. These accusations, along with numerous other malicious claims against our company and Kim Soo Hyun, are entirely false, and we cannot overlook them,” it added.
Kim Sae Ron passed away at the age of 24 and was found dead in her home in Seoul on February 16. She reportedly died by suicide. The reports also claimed that Kim Soo Hyun dated Sae Ron for over six years.
