Kim Sae Ron Death: The sudden demise of South Korean actress Kim Sae Ron left the industry and her fans in shock and grief. After this tragic incident, popular actor Kim Soo Hyun has found himself in the middle of the controversy after it was reported that he dated Kim Sae Ron for six years. Garosero Research Institute alleged that the Queen Of Tears star began dating Kim Sae Ron when she was only 15 and he was 27. However, his agency has responded to these allegations and called these claims false.
The official statement by Kim Soo Hyun reads, “The claims made by Garosero Research Institute regarding Kim Soo Hyun on YouTube today are completely false.”
“They alleged that our company and Kim Soo Hyun colluded with YouTuber Lee Jin Ho to harass the late Kim Sae Ron, that Kim Soo Hyun had been dating the late Kim Sae Ron since she was 15, that our agency’s response to her drunk driving accident was unfair, and that our company’s manager had a close relationship with YouTuber Lee Jin Ho. These accusations, along with numerous other malicious claims against our company and Kim Soo Hyun, are entirely false, and we cannot overlook them,” it added.

Apart from calling these rumours baseless, the agency also called the allegation it is ‘direct repetition of the so-called ‘cyber wrecker’ behaviour that deeply affected the deceased while she (Kim Sae Ron) was alive.’
Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun’s dating rumours surfaced when the late actress posted a selfie with the Dream High star on her Instagram story in 2024. However, she deleted it later.
Kim Sae Ron passed away at the age of 24. She was found dead in her home in Seoul on February 16. She started her acting career with the 2009 movie ‘A Brand New Life’. She then starred in The Man From Nowhere in 2010 with Wo Bin. In 2021, she starred as a female lead in the show ‘The Great Shaman Ga Doo-shim’.
She was involved in a drunk driving case in 2022 and faced setback in her acting career.
