In an extremely raw and candid interview with Alex Cooper on Call Her Daddy, Khloé Kardashian looks back on her relationship with NBA player Lamar Odom, which they shared from 2009 to 2016. Speaking about their complicated relationship, Khloe shared how her life turned upside down after she caught Lamar cheating and said, “I was young, like maybe 26,” she said. “I saw in the window that him and this girl were either naked or she was in lingerie, something like that. I knocked on the door, they answered it for some reason, and I just started going ballistic.” She further added that she showed up to Kourtney Kardashian’s daughter’s cowboy-themed birthday party the next day with bloody knuckles and said “I just had bandanas wrapped around my hand and I was on theme. I acted as if nothing ever happened, and I don’t think I ever said a thing.”
The Tristan Thompson Betrayals
The interview then veered into the infamous Tristan Thompson drama. Infamous for having several twists, Khloé disclosed that her sister Kim had been the first to find out that Tristan had cheated on her – twice. “Kim has known about the cheating I think both of the cheating stuff, I think Kim found out first, Which is insane.” She continued to describe how the initial cheating scandal erupted while Kim was taping interviews for Keeping Up With the Kardashians. “We just happened to be filming all the f–king time.”
For Khloé, the initial betrayal was especially hurtful since it occurred just two days before she gave birth to their daughter, True, in 2018. Even after giving their relationship a second chance, Khloé revealed that she could never again fully trust Tristan. “I never could fully trust him, or I never felt safe around him again. There was something that I pushed to the side and I don’t know why.”
Khloé’s honesty during the podcast shows the hurt, the shame and the emotional toll of living through repeated betrayals. It’s clear from her conversation that despite everything she has found a way to move forward continuing to live with strength and resilience.
