Prabhas made a big-screen comeback with Salaar, an action-packed film directed by Prashanth Neel, renowned for KGF. Despite expectations of a crossover with Yash’s character from KGF, Prashanth clarified that the two worlds are not connected. However, there’s a connection between the two biggies.
Yash’s name was mentioned in the opening credits of Salaar, expressing gratitude from Hombale Films, the production company behind the movie. The opening credits of Salaar included a thank-you slide dedicated to Yash. While Prashanth and Prabhas have not commented on the note, fans speculate that the gratitude is directed towards Yash for participating in the film’s muhuratham shot.

For those unfamiliar, the muhurat puja and the first shot for Salaar took place in January 2021, with Yash attending the puja and posing for photos with Prabhas.
Prashanth Neel clarified earlier this week that Yash’s KGF world is not connected to Prabhas’ Salaar world. In an interview with Galata Plus, Prashanth mentioned that people began comparing the tone set in KGF and started drawing theories, assuming a connection between the two universes. Prashanth acknowledged that he should have clarified earlier, emphasizing that there is no part of Salaar that has a connection with KGF.
