Kevin Hart Cancels India Show After Pahalgam Terror Attack

American comedian Kevin Hart has canceled his debut India performance scheduled for April 30 in Delhi following the Pahalgam terror attack.

American actor-comedian Kevin Hart has cancelled his much awaited India debut in the wake of the recent Pahalgam terror attack. Hart, known for films like Get Hard, The Wedding Ringer, and Ride Along, was scheduled to perform his comedy special Acting My Age in Delhi on April 30.

Show organizers District announced the cancellation on Sunday through an official Instagram post. Their statement read: "Important update: In light of the recent tragic events, we, along with Kevin Hart's team, have decided to cancel the upcoming Delhi show scheduled for April 30th... We are working closely with Kevin Hart's team on a new schedule and will share updates soon." District said that full refunds will be issued automatically. The note further added "While we were looking forward to gathering with all of you, we believe it's important to pause and stand in solidarity with those affected."

Other Bollywood artists also cancelled their scheduled events following the tragic incident. Salman Khan postponed his UK Tour, Arijit Singh called off his concert in Chennai, while Shreya Ghoshal’s show, which was planned for April 26 in Surat, was also cancelled. Papon also announced cancellation of his show in Ahmedabad which was scheduled for April 26.

About The Pahalgam Terror Attack

The attack took place on April 22 in the Baisaran Valley and claimed at least 28 lives and over 20 people were injured. It is being said as one of the deadliest in the Valley since the 2019 Pulwama strike in which 40 CRPF jawans were killed.
