Kesari: Chapter 2 is all set to be one of the most highly awaited films of the year. Featuring Akshay Kumar in the lead role the film will send audiences back to the dark times of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. As excitement is building higher, Dharma Productions has officially introduced the four key characters making fans more excited than before.
Character Introductions Ignite Buzz
Akshay Kumar will be seen portraying legendary advocate C. Sankaran Nair the man who dared to challenge the British Empire and rulers at that time. His introduction comes with the caption: “One man. Against an entire empire.”
Joining Akshay in the movie Ananya Panday posed as Dilreet Gill and described as: “Embraced by compassion, fuelled by justice.”
The film’s villian have also been revealed, Simon Paisley Day takes on the role of General Reginald Dyer, the man who is all responsible for the massacre, with the spine chilling caption: “Bullets rained, innocents fell… and he stood cold.”
However, it is R Madhavan’s character, Neville Mckinley, that has truly captured attention. The teaser describes him as “Sharp, fearless, undeniable… but playing for the other side!”
