Courtroom drama “Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh” is all set to hit theaters on April 18. Directed by debutant Karan Singh Tyagi who has a legal background and completed his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Harvard University and is also a member of the New York State Bar and the Bar Council of India and also had experience in law firms based in Paris and New York.
The film is set against the backdrop of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, with Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, and Ananya Panday playing the role of lawyers. The film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
Karan Johar shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, introducing Tyagi as Dharma Productions’ 24th debut director.

“I rarely write notes before the release of a film but few films excite me, energise me and inspire me the way the process of this film has,” Johar wrote, calling the project “one of Dharma’s proudest films.”
