Karan Johar and Akshay Kumar have finally officially announced the much-awaited sequel to the 2019 blockbuster, Kesari. The new film which is titled ‘Kesari: Chapter 2’ is expected to bring another interesting story of courage and patriotism to the big screen.

Karan Johar recently took to Instagram to share exciting news about the release date of Kesari: Chapter 2. In the post, he wrote, “Kuch ladaaiyan hathiyaaron se nahi ladi jaati. #KesariChapter2 teaser out on 24th March. In cinemas 18th April, worldwide.”

Fans are thrilled with the announcement, and have started flooding the comment section. One user wrote, “The best film of Akshay Sir’s Career is going to release on 18th April”, hinting at how big the release could be. Karan Johar Introduces A New Director

Along with this, Karan Johar also revealed that Kesari: Chapter 2 will mark the directorial debut of Karan Singh Tyagi.

The upcoming film will feature a powerful cast, including Akshay Kumar, Ananya Panday and R Madhavan. The story is inspired by The Case That Shook the Empire, written by Raghu and Pushpa Palat. The film tells the story of C. Sankaran Nair, a courageous lawyer who fearlessly challenged the British Raj after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

The film is all set for a worldwide theatrical release, promising to deliver a story that’s both emotional and inspiring.
