Kesari 2 First Reviews OUT: Akshay Kumar-Starrer Receives High Praise Before Release

Kesari Chapter 2, starring Akshay Kumar, Ananya Panday and R Madhavan, has been creating huge hype ever since its announcement. Based on the life of C Sankaran Nair, the movie is set against the backdrop of Jallianwala Bagh. Before its release, a screening was held and was attended by Delhi’s CM Lekha Gupta, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and many more. They have given their reviews of Kesari Chapter 2 and have high praise for the film.

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta posted pictures from the screening of Kesari Chapter 2 on X. Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri called the film powerful and praised its gripping narrative. Earlier, Akshay Kumar thanked PM Narendra Modi for recognising C Sankaran Nair’s contribution in India’s freedom struggle. He wrote, “Thank you Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji for remembering the great Chettur Sankaran Nair ji and his contribution to our freedom struggle. It is so important that we as a nation, especially the younger generation values the great women and men who fought valiantly to ensure that we breathe in a free country! Our Kesari Chapter 2, is a humble effort to remind everyone that we must never take our freedom for granted!”

Kesari Chapter 2 will hit the theatres on April 18, 2025.
