The Vice Chancellor of Kerala University reportedly denied permission for actor Sunny Leone to perform at the University College of Engineering campus in Thiruvananthapuram. This decision affected the event, originally scheduled for July 5.
According to reports from Manorama, Dr. Mohanan Kunnummal, the Vice Chancellor of Kerala University, instructed the registrar to remove Sunny Leone’s show from the college’s program list.
A tragic stampede occurred at a concert held at Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) in Kerala’s Ernakulam district in November of last year. This incident claimed the lives of four students and caused injuries to over 60 others.

Meanwhile, Sunny has commenced filming her first Malayalam movie. She took to Instagram to share a video of herself participating in the muhurat puja. The clip showcased the actor beginning shooting for the unnamed Malayalam film at an undisclosed venue. Additionally, Sunny is set to appear in ‘Quotation Gang’ as well.
“I’m thrilled to join this incredible Malayalam film, although I ended up burning my hands in excitement. Director: @pampally,” she captioned the post.
Last year, Sunny Leone appeared in “Kennedy,” directed by Anurag Kashyap. She starred alongside Rahul Bhat and Abhilash Thapliyal.
