Several celebrities in the Indian film industry have reached heights of success because of their skills or connections. But one actor who has earned a permanent place in the hearts of ‘Janta ka Superstar’ with his talent, screen presence, and relatability is Kartik Aaryan.
Currently, he is one of the most bankable stars in the country with multiple blockbusters and two of the most anticipated projects in Bollywood. But during the promotions of his upcoming Chandu Champion, Kartik revealed one thing that his co-star Ranbir Kapoor took away from him. As we all know, director Luv Ranjan gave Kartik his first break in the 2011 buddy comedy Pyaar Ka Punchnama.
The film was the first of its kind and became a sleeper hit much to the delight of the debutant actor and first-time director. The dynamic duo scored hits in films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015) and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018). That is, of course, until Luv’s Tu JhoothiMain Makkaar (2023). This time the filmmaker joined forces with Ranbir.
Kartik Aaryan And Ranbir Kapoor
In a recent Zoom session, Kartik was asked to share a certain quality of Ranbir. The Chandu Champion actor quickly replied, “I think Vau toh mera director le Gaya tha naa time for us! Apne director Bacha ke rakho (I think he took away my director that time! Keep your director safe.)” Well, Ranbir played the lead, but Kartik was also a memorable part of Tu Jhooth.
