Kartik Aaryan has kick-started shooting for his next film ‘Naagzilla’, in which the actor will be seen as the shape-shifting snake. He has teamed up with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions for this supernatural film. The actor shared the muhurat shot of ‘Naagzilla’ on Instagram, also confirming the film’s release date.
Announcing the news, Kartik wrote, “1 Year of #BhoolBhulaiyaa3. Day 1 of #Naagzilla. Har Har Mahadev. 14th August 2026.”
Naagzilla will hit the theatres on August 14, 2026. The movie will also clash with Varun Dhawan-starrer Bhediya 2, produced by Maddock Films. Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the movie is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and written by Gautam Mehra. It is expected to be a fantasy comedy.
Kartik started shooting for Naagzilla on the same day his blockbuster ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ was release on the big screen.
Meanwhile, Kartik will also team up with Dharma Production for ‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’ alongside Ananya Panday.
The actor was earlier in the news after he win the Filmfare Award in the Best Actor category for his role in ‘Chandu Champion’. He wrote, “This hits different when you remember where you started. That night… every emotion I’d ever felt found its voice. From the small town boy who only dreamt of this stage, to the man living it — thank you, universe. I didn’t just speak that night, I felt every word. This speech wasn’t prepared. It was lived.”
