Karisma Kapoor Heads Back To Mumbai After Attending Ex-Husband Sunjay Kapur’s Funeral

Karisma Kapoor has returned to Mumbai after attending the funeral of her ex-husband Sunjay Kapur in Delhi.

Sunjay Kapur, renowned industrialist and Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband passed away in London at the age of 53. His sudden demise came as a shock to his well-wishers. His funeral will be held in Delhi today after a delay due to citizenship issues.

His final rites were performed at Lodhi Road Cremation Ground in New Delhi, where Karisma and their children, Samaira and Kiaan, paid their final respects.

A video of Karisma boarding a private charter flight with her children has surfaced online, showing her visibly disturbed. Saif Ali Khan was seen exchanging greetings with the flight crew before boarding.

On June 22, a prayer meet will be held at the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi between 4 to 5 PM.

Sunjay Kapur was the chairman of Sona Comstar and was known for being a prominent name in the automotive industry. He was also the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Northern Region, which worked in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and three Union Territories under his leadership.

For the unversed, Sunjay and Karisma in 2003 and they have two children. They divorced in 2016 but continued to co-parent their kids.
