Kareena was most recently spotted with Laal Singh Chaddha. After Talaash and 3 Idiots, this was her third collaboration with Aamir Khan. Atul Kulkarni wrote it, making his debut as a scriptwriter. It was centred on a simpleton who had his own interpretation on major historical events. The trailer and music for Laal Singh Chaddha created a buzz among Aamir fans previous to its release, however the film was a disaster. She is now collaborating with Hansal Mehta on her film.

Alia, on the other hand, will be featured in the upcoming films Heart of Stone and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
