Rapper Kanye West has been a controversial figure for the past few years. He has been hitting the headlines again after a model filed a lawsuit against him for alleged sexual assault and strangulation. According to a report by Rolling Stone, plaintiff Jenifer An claimed that the incident took place when she shooting for the music video ‘In for the Kill’ in 2010 at Manhattan’s Chelsea Hotel.
Rolling Stone reported that Jennifer An was dressed in lingerie and working as a background actor for La Roux’s “In for the Kill” video when West arrived on set, pointed to her, and said, “Give me the Asian girl.” The lawsuit alleges, “On camera, defendant West began to choke plaintiff with one hand. He then wrapped his other hand around her neck and continued to strangle her with both hands. He then rammed several fingers down her throat, continuously moved them in and out, and gagged her.”
The model further claimed that West used to fingers “to emulate forced oral sex” and reportedly screamed, “This is art. This is f*****g art. I am like Picasso.”
“Plaintiff struggled to breathe and felt as if she had temporarily blacked out. When defendant West decided that he was finished with the plaintiff, her face was covered in saliva and smeared makeup,” the lawsuit reportedly adds.
Kanye West has had numerous controversies before as well. He was married to reality TV star Kim Kardashian, with whom he has four kids. He is now married to Bianca Censori.
