It is deeply connected to us emotionally.” Rishabh Shetty didn’t name anyone, but his statement came after Ranveer Singh mocked and insulted him. However, seeing the controversy escalate, Ranveer Singh apologized via social media. He wrote, “My intention was to praise Rishabh’s brilliant acting in the film. As an actor, I know the hard work it takes to perform that particular scene the way he did, and I have immense respect for him. I have always deeply respected every culture, tradition, and faith of my country. If I have hurt anyone’s sentiments, I sincerely apologize.”
