New Delhi: Kantara, directed by Rishab Shetty, became one of the biggest hits of 2022 and garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews, with commentators complimenting its compelling narrative. The blockbuster is currently once again in the spotlight.
On March 17, Kantara will be shown at the UN in Geneva. The Pathe Balexert theatre will host the screening. Rishab will also explain how Indian cinema has sparked conversations on environmental issues, the climate, and conservation.
Rishab Shetty’s Kantara to be screened at the United Nations
On March 17, Kantara, which premiered on September 30th, 2022, will be shown to the UN in Geneva. The Pathe Balexert theater’s Hall No. 13 will host the screening.
Rishab Shetty will also talk about how Indian cinema has contributed to the discussion of environmental issues, climatic change, and conservation.

Originally shot in Kannada, the film was eventually dub-subbed into a variety of languages. On October 14, the Hindi version began showing in theatres.

A traditional dance for the deity called Bhootha Kola is the focus of the action thriller flick. Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Sapthami Gowda, and Pramod Shetty all play significant roles in the movie. The KGF franchise’s production company, Hombale Films, is run by Vijay Kirgandur. Kantara 2 has already received a release date.
It is a prequel to the first movie and is anticipated to surpass its predecessor in size and quality. In 2024, Kantara 2 is anticipated to premiere in theatres.
