Kantara Chapter 1 box office collection day 14: Rishab Shetty’s film still remains behind KGF 2

Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara Chapter 1’, which arrived in theatres on October 2, has become a blockbuster, and fans have praised its performances and plot. Apart from starring in the film, Rishab has also directed the film. It has met the viewers’ expectations after its prequel, ‘Kantara’, set the bar high due to its grand success. According to the website Sacnilk, ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ collected Rs 10 crore on day 14 as per early estimates. The movie earned Rs 475 crore in total. It is still behind KGF Chapter 2, which earned Rs 672.58 crore within 14 days.

Earlier, Rishab Shetty also penned a note for the audience, requesting them not to encourage priacy. The film’s visual is backed by the powerful cinematic vision of Arvind S. Kashyap as cinematographer and the evocative music of B. Ajaneesh Loknath, whose compositions in the first film left audiences spellbound. It is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films.

Rishab Shetty has essayed the role of Berme alongside Rukmini Vasanth as Kanakavathi, and Gulshan Devaiah as Kulashekara.
