Kantara 2: Kantara, which was released on September 30, 2022, was written, directed, and starred in by Rishab Shetty. The Kannada film, which reportedly cost Rs 16 crore to produce, eventually made more than Rs 400 at international box offices. The sequel to the Hombale Films-produced film is about to begin production.
It has already been announced that Rishab Shetty has finished location scouting and locked the script for Kantara 2. Rishab has conducted a thorough reconnaissance earlier this year in the seashore and adjoining forest regions of Karnataka.
Rohit Shetty ready with Kantara 2
According to Hombale Films founder Vijay Kiragandur, Rishab intended to begin filming in June because the rainy season is necessary for a section of the project. In April or May 2024, Kantara 2 will be released throughout all of India.
The budget for Kantara 2 has increased, but in order to maintain the continuity and authenticity of the film, the movie’s style, narrative, and cinematography will be comparable to those of Kantara. There will be an increase in the cast, and some of them might be well-known figures.
