The announcement was met by a positive response from audience, who felt happy for Kangana. Appreciating her efforts for constantly fighting for the approval from CBFC. “Finally! Took them long enough to stop messing around. Funny how some movies get a free pass, but showing real history gets dragged through the mud. Glad you didn’t back down—let the truth speak for itself,” wrote one person. Another said, “Kudos to you for not caving to the pressure. Can’t wait to see this one shake things up. Keep pushing the boundaries.” Manu people also congratulated the actor.

Produced by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films, the film’s music is orchestrated by Sanchit Balhara and G V Prakash Kumar with screenplay and dialogues by Ritesh Shah.
