Kangana Ranaut has given many impressive performances in her career but her acting in ‘Queen’ and the ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ film series are fan-favourite. As per the recent buzz, the actress is planning to return to the big screen with the sequel of ‘Queen’ and the third part of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’. According to a report on Pinkvilla, the scripts for ‘Queen 2’ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu 3’ have been finalised.
A source close to the development told Pinkvilla, “Vikas Bahl has locked the script of Queen 2, and is presently on a recce in the UK. Much like the first part, the sequel too is also set in India and overseas. One of the international locations identified by Vikas Bahl and team is London.”
“Anand L Rai has already written the script of Tanu Weds Manu 3, and aims to take the film on floors by early 2026, post the release of his next directorial – Tere Ishk Mein,” the source added.

Released in 2013, ‘Queen’ is considered one of the biggest hits of Kangana’s career. The movie revolves around Rani, who goes on her honeymoon in Paris and Amsterdam alone after her fiancé calls off the wedding. The movie also stars Lisa Haydon and Rajkummar Rao in the pivotal roles.
Kangana Ranaut won Best Actress in the 62nd National Award, and the movie won Best Hindi Film. ‘Queen’ also bagged six awards at the 60th Filmfare Awards.

‘Tanu Weds Manu’ also stars R Madhavan in the lead role with Jimmy Sheirgill, Eijaz Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Deepak Dobriyal appearing in supporting roles. The movie revolves around Manu, an NRI doctor, who comes to India in search of a bride and falls in love with Tanu. However, Tanu has other plans and wants to elope with her lover.
Its sequel, ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, was released in 2013 and had the same cast. Kangana Ranaut played the double role and received immense praise for her performance.
