Kangana Ranaut has created a mark in India – first through her movies and stellar performances, and then through her controversial statements and political career. However, this popularity is now transcending borders. The actor is quite popular in Pakistan and is often mimicked by fellow actors.
A recent video of Pakistani actor Ukasha Gul mimicking Kangana during a talk show is going viral on internet. Ukasha convincingly replicated Kangana’s mannerisms and voice modulation. The uncanny resemblance between the two actors left the audience, including show host Ramiz Raja and Hina Niazi, in splits.

While impersonating Kangana, she cracked the joke and said, “I have seen two kinds of gents in my life married gents and detergents. Both are equally good at cleaning clothes.”
As the video went viral on social media, netizens flooded the comment section with appreciation for The Legend of Maula Jatt actor. “She is more Kangana than Kangana herself,” wrote one user. Another one compared the two actor and commented, “At least she is likable unlike Kangana.”
While many felt that Pakistani shows are now using Indian artiste to get TRPs. A comment read, “Ab to Pakistan ke show bhi Kangana ke naam se chal rahe hain”. Others included, “Chalo Kangana ke naam par attention toh mil gya ise and show ko TRP”, “Ab to Pakistan shows me bhi Indian logo ki wajah se TRP aati hai”,
Many people also came in defence of the Queen actor as they felt the show was belittling the Indian artiste. One of the wrote, “Imitation in this case mimicry is a form of adulation. Kangana through her films and her acting has claimed a name and popularity for herself. I as an Indian would approve this artiste’s effort in mimicking Kangana but certainly do not approve belittling of Kangana’s stature as a powerful actor. Small minds only know how to belittle others rather than appreciate hard work.”
Meanwhile, Kangana spoke about people mimicking her every now and then. “Main apni mimicry dekhti hoon. Kitne log mujhe mimic karte hain. Main to bohot zyada popular hoon mimicry ki duniya me,” she said in an interview, adding that she does not get offended.
