After much delay, the bilingual Telugu-Kannada film Junior, starring Kireeti Reddy and Sreeleela, has finally arrived on digital platforms. Despite failing to entertain most audiences at the box office, here’s everything you need to know about the youthful romantic drama as it makes its digital debut.

The film was initially slated for an OTT release on September 22, but technical issues caused a delay.
It is now officially streaming on Aha from September 30, 2025, and is also available on Amazon Prime.

The cast includes Kireeti Reddy, Sreeleela, Genelia D’Souza, Ravichandran, Sudha Rani, Achyuth Kumar, Satya, Harsha Chemudu, Rao Ramesh and several others.
Plot
Abhinav (Kireeti Reddy) wants some freedom from his overprotective father and to pursue a relationship with his love-interest, Spoorthy (Sreeleela), during his college years. He lands an internship at Rise Solutions, where he clashes with his strict manager, Vijaya Soujanya (Genelia D’Souza). While exposing a scam at the company, Abhinav discovers that Vijaya is actually his elder sister, adopted by the company chairman Gopal (Rao Ramesh). The story follows how Abhinav reunites his family, wins over his sister, and resolves the issues at the company.

Junior is written and directed by Radha Krishna Reddy and produced by Sai Korrapati under the banner of Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram. The film was released on 18 July 2025. Made on a budget of Rs 25 crore, it unfortunately underperformed at the box office, earning only between Rs 10-16 crore.
