Jr. NTR’s much-awaited film Devara: Part 1 is all set to hit Japanese theatres on March 28, 2025. Ahead of its official release, the film has already made waves with special preview screenings in Japan.
The early response has been overwhelming as fans call it a ‘huge blockbuster’ on social media. Japanese fans who attended these preview shows have praised the film to the most extent.

Jr. NTR To Promote Devara in Japan
The actor will travel to Japan on March 22 to promote the film on international stage. During the promotions he is expected to meet fans, attend press events and interact with the local media to strengthen his connection with the international audience.
Last month, Jr. NTR held online interviews with Japanese media outlets and expressed confidence that Devara could repeat the success of RRR which was a massive hit in Japan. He also explained that these all efforts are part of his plan to build a solid fan base in the country.
The international film hit trend was set by director SS Rajamouli with Baahubali 2 in China, and the RRR promotional tour in Japan by Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, and Rajamouli, South Indian filmmakers are increasingly looking at international markets. Earlier this year, the makers of Kalki 2898 AD also promoted their film in Japan.
