New Delhi: Taraka Ratna, a politician and film actor, has died. He died on Saturday, February 18, following a heart attack last month. He was 39 years old at the time. Taraka collapsed after suffering a heart attack while participating in TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh’s Yuvagalam Padayatra in Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor district last month.
His mortal remains have arrived at his house in Rangareddy district’s Mokila. According to reports, his funeral will be place tomorrow, February 20. On, February 19, Jr NTR, brother Kalyanram, and several other celebrities paid their tributes at Taraka’s residence.
Jr NTR gets emotional on cousin’s death
Taraka Ratna was sent to the Narayana Hrudayalaya hospital in Bangalore for better care. He was receiving treatment at the Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences. His condition quickly deteriorated, and he fell into a coma. His remains was stored at his residence in Mokila, Rangareddy district, after he died yesterday. Junior NTR and his brother Nandamuri Kalyanram paid their respects at his residence. The pair became emotional, and images of them are now going viral. Other celebrities who visited Taraka’s home included MP V Vijayasai Reddy and actors Shivaji Raja and Ajay.

According to reports, Taraka would be cremated on Monday, February 20 at Mahaprashthanam. According to reports, Taraka Ratna’s body was returned to Hyderabad on Sunday, February 19, morning. It is maintained in his home in Mokila, Ranga Reddy district. On Monday morning at 7 a.m., his body would be preserved at the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce. In that evening, the funeral ceremonies would be done at the Mahaprasthanam in Jubilee Hills.
Taraka Ratna was the son of Nandamuri Mohan Krishna and the grandson of famed cinema actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N T Rama Rao. He was Junior NTR’s, Kalyan Ram’s, and Lokesh’s cousin. Nandamuri Mohan Krishna, his father, is a Tollywood cinematographer. Taraka leaves behind his wife Alekhya and a daughter.
