Jr NTR is gearing up for the release of ‘Devara’ and recently had an interesting conversation with Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar about the film. During the candid chat, the actor praised Saif Ali Khan’s performance as Bhaira and compared it to his role in ‘Omkara’. NTR revealed that he was excited after seeing Saif Ali Khan perform in ‘Devara’ and also called him fabulous. For the unversed, ‘Devara’ also marks Saif’s debut in Telugu cinema.
Praising Saif in ‘Devara’, Jr NTR told Alia and Karan Johar, “Saif’s character is…I don’t know I was so excited seeing him while watching the movie. I don’t remember when I actually saw him that fabulous.”
‘Omkara’ also stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Konkona Sen Sharma, Vivek Oberoi and Bipasha Basu in lead roles. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the movie is based on William Shakespeare’s Othello. Set in Meerut, the movie revolves around Omkara, who gets surrounded by conspiracy after Langda decides to take revenge on him for appointing Kesu as his successor instead of him. Saif Ali Khan played the role of Langda Tyagi and won Filmfare Award in the Best Performance in Negative Role category.
