The ‘Jolly LLB’ franchise is known for its perfect blend of courtroom drama and comedy. With Arshad Warsi starting as Jolly in the first part and Akshay Kumar taking his legacy forward, the film franchise has gained a huge fan following. The Jollys, Ashard and Akshay, are all set to reprise their roles in ‘Jolly LLB 3’, and Saurabh Shukla will join the cast too.
Saurabh Shukla confirmed Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s casting in ‘Jolly LLB 3’. He will return as the judge who is caught between two incompetent lawyers. Sharing the video, the actor wrote, “Iss baar do do Jolly ek saath! Court main hoga chaos #JollyLLB3 #DontJudgeMe.”
‘Jolly LLB 3’ will release in theatres on September 19, 2025. Its trailer will drop on August 12.
The first starred Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani, Amrita Rao, and Saurabh Shukla in the lead roles. The plot focused on Advocate Jagdish Tyagi aka Jolly, who takes up the hit-and-run case of six innocent labourers by going against the rich and judicial corruption.
‘Jolly LLB 2’, released in 2017, introduced Akshay Kumar as Jagdishwar Mishra, aka the new Jolly. Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor, and Kumud Mishra joined the star cast, whereas Saurabh Shukla reprised the role of judge. The movie focused on a lawyer who wants to bring justice to the deceased victim of a fake encounter involving a corrupt police officer and a terrorist presumed dead by fighting a case against a ruthless and powerful advocate.
Meanwhile, not much has been revealed about the plot of ‘Jolly LLB 3’. However, it is exciting to see both Akshay and Arshad coming together on the big screen. Huma Qureshi and Amrita Rao are expected to return as well.
