Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi have teamed up for ‘Jolly LLB 3’ and will reprise their roles from the previous instalments. This time, their characters will go against each other as the movie focuses on a new topic.
The film is still three days away from release, but advance booking has started in phases. So far, it has earned Rs 62.97 lakh by selling over 19,000 tickets. Just yesterday, only 7,000 tickets were sold, and today the number has almost tripled. Including block ticket sales, the total collection has already touched Rs 2 crore. At present, bookings are open for more than 3,500 shows. With this pace, the film is expected to open at around Rs 10 crore, and if the word of mouth is strong, it could even cross Rs 15 crore making it the biggest opening in the franchise.
Industry insiders are projecting a double digit opening, with chances of significant growth over the weekend if positive word of mouth kicks in.

About Jolly LLB 3
Alongside Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, and Saurabh Shukla, the film also stars Huma Qureshi and Amrita Rao in pivotal roles. ‘Jolly LLB 3’ is slated for a September 19, 2025 release.
The first part of ‘Jolly LLB 3’ starred Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani, Amrita Rao, and Saurabh Shukla in the lead roles. The plot focused on Advocate Jagdish Tyagi aka Jolly, who takes up the hit-and-run case of six innocent labourers by going against the rich and judicial corruption.
‘Jolly LLB 2’, released in 2017, introduced Akshay Kumar as Jagdishwar Mishra, aka the new Jolly. Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor, and Kumud Mishra joined the star cast, whereas Saurabh Shukla reprised the role of the judge. The movie focused on a lawyer who wants to bring justice to the deceased victim of a fake encounter involving a corrupt police officer and a terrorist presumed dead by fighting a case against a ruthless and powerful advocate.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi reportedly landed in legal trouble due to this movie after a Pune court issued notices to them. This happened after a lawyer, Wajid Khan Bidkar, filed a complaint against them, claiming that ‘Jolly LLB 3’ has made fun of the legal system and court proceedings. This is the second time the movie has landed in legal trouble, as a complaint was also filed in May 2024.
