Akshay Kumar, one of Bollywood’s most bankable stars, has revealed major updates about his upcoming slate of films, including the highly anticipated Jolly LLB 3. Speaking at the trailer launch event for his upcoming action drama Sky Force, Akshay confirmed three major releases scheduled for 2025, thrilling his fans with exciting announcements.
Akshay’s Three Releases In 2025
During the event, Akshay revealed that he will star in three films next year. He is currently shooting for Bhooth Bangla, a horror fantasy film with elements of humor, directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Ekta Kapoor. Set across locations like Hyderabad, Kerala, Sri Lanka, and Gujarat, the film features rumored appearances by stars such as Kiara Advani, Keerthy Suresh, and Alia Bhatt.
Another significant project is a biographical film based on the life of famed lawyer-politician C. Shankaran, co-starring R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday. This film is slated for release on March 14, 2025.
Finally, Akshay shared that Jolly LLB 3, in which he reunites with Arshad Warsi, will release on April 10, 2025, marking the return of the popular legal drama series.
Sky Force Trailer Garners Positive Buzz
At the same event, Akshay launched the trailer of Sky Force, an action-packed drama releasing on January 24, 2025, during Republic Day weekend. The film follows India’s first air strike, with Akshay’s character leading a bold mission against Pakistan. Veer Pahariya plays a young pilot who goes missing during the mission, while Sara Ali Khan portrays his love interest.
Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, the film also features Nimrat Kaur and Sharad Kelkar in key roles. The intense trailer highlights themes of patriotism and personal loss, setting the stage for a gripping cinematic experience.

Akshay’s Bhooth Bangla promises to blend horror with humor.
