New Delhi: The first look at Joaquin Phoenix from Joker 2 is revealed on December 11. Joker 2 or Joker: Folie à Deux is a follow-up to the 2019 hit Joker. The movie earned a multiple Oscar nominations and the Best Actor award for Joaquin’s portrayal of Arthur Fleck.
Director of Joker Todd Phillips, shared the first look on Sunday in his Instagram handle. Sharing the picture he wrote, “Day 1. Our boy. #joker.” In the picture, Arthur is shaving, most likely while jailed. He is unclothed, looking skinnier than ever, and has shaving foam on his face as an unidentified person shaves him.

Fans are really excited as soon as the first look was dropped by Todd Philips. Many urged their wish to see Lady Gaga’s look, who is playing Harley Quinn in the movie. Her look as not been revealed yet.
One fan wrote, “Ohhhh my God! I need to see Lady Gaga! Please!” Another wrote, “Will we get your girl on Day 2.” A third wrote, “Sneak peak at Gaga plis.”
Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix, will be collaborating on the next Joker sequel. Earlier, DC shared the newest Joker 2 teaser which raised the excitment level of DC fans.
Cheek to Cheek by Louis Armstrong, which Gaga has previously performed with jazz great Tony Bennet, serves as the soundtrack for the movie’s trailer. According to sources, the future movie will be a musical, therefore Gaga’s choice for the part seems ideal.
The teaser also announced the movie’s release date. The movie will premiere on October 4, 2024. Although Gaga’s involvement in the franchise has been confirmed, it is still unknown if she will play Harley Quinn in the eagerly anticipated follow-up.
