As Housefull 5 shoot has almost wrapped up fans were eager for it's release and to see Akshay, Shreyas and John together sharing screen. However, in an exclusive chat with Zoom, John revealed that he was approached for the film but decided not to take part.

He explained, “I was approached for Housefull 5 but I chose not to do it. I felt there was a better space for me reserved somewhere else. I would love to do a Garam Masala with Akshay. Maybe something situational, dark comedy or something exciting with him.”
