Actor Parmish Verma has been in the spotlight lately as he prepares to debut in the upcoming web series ‘Kanneda,’ which will premiere on JioHotstar. The creators released a teaser on Tuesday, generating excitement for the show’s release this March.
Produced by Jar Pictures and directed by Chandan Arora, Kanneda features Parmish Verma in the lead role as Nimma, alongside a talented cast that includes Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Ranvir Shorey, Arunoday Singh, Aadar Malik, and Jasmin Bajwa. The show is set to debut on JioHotstar on March 21st, 2025.
About The Series
The series follows Nimma as he escapes the anti-Sikh riots in 1984 and arrives in Canada for a new beginning. However, he quickly finds the streets are tough, the system has issues, and he is not warmly welcomed. ‘Kanneda’ explores his challenges as he faces the difference between his dreams and the difficult reality of his new life.
Parmish Verma shared his enthusiasm for the show and said, “This series is very close to my heart. Nimma’s story is about identity, ambition, and the thirst for power. Playing Nimma was a unique experience and as an artist, it was an incredibly fulfilling one. I have put my heart and soul into Kanneda.
