The Bollywood actress recently got married to a social activist Fahad Ahmad and the couple is expecting their firstborn.
Mommy-to-be Swara Bhasker shared a few pictures of her maternity photoshoot recently and the reactions she received were not-so-good. The actress was badly trolled for reason more than one. For the photoshoot, she chose to wear a saffron colour halter-neck high slit floaty dress.

She was of course slaying the look being an addition to the Bollywood celebs who have brought maternity fashion into trend smashing all the taboos but it didn’t go well with the social media users. The actress was trolled for using a saffron (bhagwa) colour dress for the fact that she has been opinionated on the issues of Hinduism.
A user wrote, “I hate this trend now. Please stop and SC please put a ban on this.” While another user commented, “Pet mein bomb hai.” “Change the background, you are allergic to saffron and to the nation”, adds another user. “Jihadi aane wala hai”, wrote a user.
Swara Bhasker has been receiving such comments for her views on contemporary issues and for marrying Fahad Ahmad, a man from another religion, which usually doesn’t go well with the ideology of such commentators.
