Jewel Thief Release Date: Saif Ali Khan has teamed up with Netflix once again after the success of ‘Sacred Games’ and this time, he will be seen in an exciting film ‘Jewel Thief’. The movie also stars Jaideep Ahlawat in the lead role and this is their first collaboration. After creating hype among the audience with its teaser, Netflix India has officially announced the release date of ‘Jewel Thief’.

While speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Jaideep shared some insights about his character from the Netflix film. He said, “Jewel Thief is unlike anything I have done before. The character has a lot of shades and elements of mystery to him. The look is different than any of my other characters too and it was fun to get into the shoes of this role. The teaser has already sparked curiosity, and I can’t wait for the audience to experience the full ride.”
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Saif Ali Khan talked about how the OTT content has evolved over the years. He shared, “When we started off, we weren’t really sure. We thought there was more freedom (on OTT), maybe fewer concerns and rules in that sense. (After Tandav), a lot of people realised that there are certain areas you should stay away from. We were forming some kind of self-censorship, coming up with ideas on how to steer clear of controversy and just bring out a good piece of film. Earlier, we weren’t sure. So, in that sense, we are more aware of what the landscape is now.”
Jewel Thief will also star Kunal K Kapoor and Nikita Dutta in the pivotal roles.
