About Jaya Prada
Jaya Prada was born on April 3, 1962, in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, into a Telugu-speaking family. Her father, Krishna Rao, was a financier in the Telugu film industry, and her mother, Neelavani, was a homemaker. Jaya’s journey in the film industry started with a short incident related to her passion for dance and music when she danced in her school’s annual function, She was lucky enough to get her first three-minute dance number in the Telugu film Bhoomi Kosam(1974) from a film director in the audience.
