Storyteller and motivational speaker Jaya Kishori was recently spotted at the airport wearing an all white ensemble. But what caught people’s attention was her Dior handbag, which cost more than Rs 2 lakhs. Jaya was slammed for her ‘hypocrisy’ as she motivates people to live a simple life and not getting controlled by the materialistic joys of the world.

Fans called her out for preaching things that she does not practice in personal life and make a fool of her followers. The comment section of several social media posts were filled with remarks on how it’s a joke on her blind followers. One person commented, “Seriously those who preach don’t practice. You see how people like these are always super rich and they preach simple living to common man.” While another wrote, “Joke lies on people who follow her & listens her very mediocre content Not on her.”

There were doubts that the bag could be a cheap knock-off. But when netizens flagged off the customization on the bag, it got cleared that Jaya did spend a whopping amount on it, in fact a little more to get her name on the luxury item. One comment read, “Notice the personalization on her bag. She definitely is materialistic, otherwise what was the point of paying extra and getting a custom embroidery done? keep in mind dior charges a lot for custom requests.” This has angered people even more.
