New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ is one of the most anticipated movies and while everyone is eagerly awaiting for it, the creators have now released a video in which King Khan can be seen explaining why he choose to star in action movies.
SRK once shared that action movies are a way to “impress” his children – Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and Abram Khan. The superstar further revealed that his children love him for doing stunts and six pack abs.
In the video, Shah Rukh Khan also assured everyone that Jawan has plenty of action, high-speed shots, good choreography and dialogue. He also recalled his first meeting with Atlee regarding Jawan and shared that he gave the green light to the film after learning it would also feature five other actresses.
“One day my elder son (Aryan Khan) and my daughter (Suhana Khan), told me that I will have to do films which are cool for the youngest, Abram. I think the only cool thing he likes is all these anime and action films. I decided to be a superhero. Then I thought I did not look good in spandex. I got into bandages. That’s why this action film. Honestly, I do action films because my kids get very impressed that I have some cool things, six-pack abs. There is no other reason I should do action films,” said Shahrukh in a video.

Shahrukh Khan’s kids do like him in the action roles as he had mentioned the same at the time of Ra.One which has an interesting story. After announcing Ra.One release in 2011, he maintained the same statement, saying that Aryan and Suhana like superhero movies and that is what encourages him to choose such roles.
‘Jawan’
Jawan is written and directed by Atlee. In addition to Shah Rukh Khan, the film also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra and Riddhi Dogra in the main roles.
Deepika Padukone will also make a special appearance in the film. The film is a production of Red Chillies Entertainment directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan and co-produced by Gaurav Verma.
The film will be released in theaters worldwide on September 7, 2023 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
