Well, it has come to light that Javed Akhtar has received a substantial amount for writing this outstanding song.
According to reports, Javed Akhtar has charged a fee for the song ‘Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se’ in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’ that has never been received for any song before. The lyricist’s fee for this song is now considered a new record in Hindi cinema. If the news is to be believed, Javed Akhtar charged a whopping 25 lakh rupees for this particular song. There are also reports that initially, Javed Akhtar had declined Rajkumar Hirani’s offer for this amount.
However, after negotiations and some conditions, Javed Akhtar agreed to write the song. Recently, the lyricist himself revealed why he wrote this song. He mentioned that he usually doesn’t write just one song for a film. However, for this movie, he was specifically asked to write only one song. Initially, he declined, but later, under Raju’s insistence, he agreed.
