Vivienne Westwood made its debut by hosting the first ever fashion show in India on Tuesday evening, held against the stunning backdrop of Mumbai’s Gateway of India. The show was not just a star-studded event but also a celebration of craftsmanship, sustainability, and timeless design.
The show featured a curated selection from Westwood’s Spring Summer 2025 collection including some special archive pieces and aslo highlighting Indian craftsmanship through Vivienne Westwood couture pieces crafted from handwoven Indian silks, Khadi cotton, and wool sourced from the textile houses like Khadi India and Aaranya, Gwalior.

The event was attented by some of Bollywood’s most stylish celebrities including Janhvi Kapoor where she stunned in an off-shoulder corset top paired with a satin thigh-high slit skirt, while Radhika Merchant was styled in a vintage 1990 Westwood corset with a custom saree.

Huma Qureshi added drama in a black outfit layered with a cape.
Mira Rajput, Kareena Kapoor, and Twinkle Khanna also made elegant fashion statements. With Mira Rajput making a striking appreance in a peach off-shoulder dress and heels.
Where Bebo was seen in a wine off-shoulder gown with a thigh-high slit, diamond rings and statement earrings for the accessories.
Twinkle Khanna dazzled in a rust top under a beige blazer and maroon pants.
Disha Patani and Vaani Kapoor made turn heads by opting for a daring silhouettes and shiny bodycon dresses where as Bhumi Pednekar decided to go with a denim outfit.
